How this agenda is put together

What gets listed

Two kinds of thing. First, nightlife and live programming from a curated roster of Medellín venues — clubs across Provenza, Lleras and Barrio Colombia, the salsa and rock bars of Laureles and La 70, cultural houses, theatres and museums. Second, the metro area's public cultural agenda, which carries the free, family and daytime programming that the nightlife layer never announces.

Both are read as their operators publish them. Nothing is retyped by hand, nothing is written by us, and no venue pays to appear or to rank higher. If a detail is not in the venue's own announcement, it does not appear on the card.

How often it refreshes

Several times a day, not once overnight. That is the entire point: a free-entry window announced at six in the evening for that same night has a shelf life of hours, and a page that rebuilds once a day cannot carry it. Rescanning through the day is also how corrections and reposts get picked up.

What unconfirmed means

Announcements are often ambiguous. Dates get abbreviated, flyers omit the year, and a recap of last weekend can look a lot like an announcement for this one. When a detail cannot be established with confidence — most often the date — the event is labelled unconfirmed rather than presented as fact.

Treat an unconfirmed listing as a lead worth checking, not a promise. Every event links back to its original announcement so you can check it yourself before crossing the city.

Corrections and removals

If you run a venue and something here is wrong, or you would rather not be listed, that request is honoured promptly and a contact address is published with the public launch. Listings link back to your own announcement and follow what you publish, so edits on your side flow through here.
