How we source events

Everything on this site starts as a venue's own Instagram post or story. No aggregator feeds, no press releases, no manual submissions: the source is always what the venue itself published, and every event links back to it.

From post to agenda

We follow a curated roster of Madrid venue accounts: clubs, live music rooms, bars, and cultural centers with night programming. Each scan pulls their new posts and stories. An AI model reads them, captions, flyer images and story text alike, and extracts the structured facts: what is happening, where, when, the price if one is stated, and any entry conditions. That becomes the agenda you see, grouped into tonight, tomorrow and the weekend. Nothing is typed in by hand; if a fact is not in the venue's post, it does not appear on the card.

Update cadence

We scan multiple times a day, not once overnight. Stories expire after 24 hours, so a deal announced in the morning for that same night has a shelf life of hours. The frequent rescans exist to catch exactly those, and to pick up corrections when a venue edits or reposts.

When we are not sure

Extraction is not perfect. Flyers are ambiguous, dates get abbreviated, and stories are low-context by design. When the model is not confident about a detail, most often the date, or whether an event is really tonight versus a recap of last week, the event is labeled unconfirmed instead of being silently guessed at. Treat unconfirmed listings as leads worth a tap, not promises, and check the source post before you cross town.

Why stories matter

Most event listings only see what reaches ticketing platforms. A huge share of Madrid's nightlife never gets there: free-entry windows, one-night drink deals, surprise guests, last-minute lineup changes, same-day cancellations. Those live in stories, announced hours before doors and gone by morning. That disappearing layer is the one this site was built to catch. Posts give the agenda its backbone; stories give it its pulse.

For venues

Correction and removal requests from venues are honored promptly, and a contact address will be published here with the public launch. In the meantime, every listing links back to your own post, and the agenda follows what you publish: we only show what you posted publicly, with attribution and a link back, but it is your event and your call.
