The 1916 wrought-iron market beside Plaza Mayor, reborn as a gourmet tapas hall: vermouth, oysters, jamón and croquetas under a glass roof. Yes it is touristy; it is also genuinely beautiful and the produce is real.

Treat it as a grazing stop on a night out rather than a sit-down dinner and it makes perfect sense.
