The whatspoppin concierge is an AI you ask what’s on in your city — tonight, the weekend, whenever you’re out — and it answers from this site’s own live listings and nothing else. Just say what you’re after; you don’t have to know the right word for it.
It’s for the questions a list can’t answer. Not “what’s on tonight” — the agenda already tells you that — but “somewhere I can hear live jazz before ten”, or “it’s raining and nobody wants to dance”.
What can I ask it?
Anything you’d ask a friend who happens to know what’s on. Say the shape of the night rather than a keyword, and say what has to be true — that last part is what a listing page can’t work with.

- “What’s on this week that starts early? I’ve got work in the morning.”
- “Nothing here does it for me. What else is there?”
Where do the answers come from?
From the same listings you’ve been reading here, and nothing else. Every event it puts in front of you exists on whatspoppin, with the same title, the same time and the same wording about the door price as the page it came from.
When nothing fits, it says so — plainly, rather than talking you into second best. Then you move the question: another night, something else entirely. That’s the difference between asking and scrolling.
It’s an AI, so it can still get a detail wrong in a sentence. Check with the venue before you go — the same advice we’d give you about a flyer.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The agenda here is free and it stays that way — the concierge holds none of it back, and there’s no listing you can only reach by asking.
Asking does take an account — free, one minute — and here’s why: a conversation has to belong to somebody before we can keep it for you, and keeping it is what lets you close the tab and come back to it.
Which cities does it cover?
Every city we cover, one concierge. If you arrive from a city page it already knows where you mean; otherwise it asks, and you tell it in the conversation like you’d tell anyone else. Right now that means Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Medellín, and San Sebastián.
